CREDENTIALS:
The process
Getting counselling or therapy online is a great option for many people. No need to have a clinic or therapist’s office nearby, online counselling can be done from the comfort of your own home. Here’s how to get started:
Schedule a complimentary 20 minute consultation where you will speak to a counsellor over video chat or phone call. This is your chance for you and the counsellor to get to know each other a little better and ask any questions you might have. There is no pressure to book a full session after your consultation.
If you’d like to move forward with treatment after the consultation, the next step is to book a full session or series of sessions with your therapist. You can work on your overall mental health, or focus on something specific like reducing anxiety.
